A big dump of snow the week before, combined with clear and sunny sky, made for a memorable weekend. Day 1 was spent on the Manders mountain. That night everyone feasted on venison and home brew beer that Brian brought, then everyone settled down in the yurpi to watch the vast library of Hairy movies. Day 2 was a trip to Mount Bohemia for a day of fun. Everyone skied until their legs no longer worked and then we headed for the yurpi for more food, beer, and Hairy movies. We look forward to showing our latest movie next year. http://www.hairydoughnuts.com The auditorium filled early (word was out that last year filled and ran out of seats) and over 300 folks came for the showing. Ballots were handed out along with pencils so everyone could keep notes during the films and you could hear the rumble of voices and the scribble of pencils between each film. The five finalists were shown first and then during intermission ballots were counted. Back on stage the winners were announced starting from 3rd place. Third place went to 'Free Up' by Chris Nelson. Second place and a pair of Voile bindings went to 'A Winter Of Solos' by Randy Baker and First Place and a $250 check went to 'Next Season' by Jason Manders and Chris Marr. http://www.netelemark.com/film_fest.html
